Positive Environmental Impacts

Our focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship starts with the design of our independent-row trackers, which create less disturbance of the natural terrain. Our NX Horizon-XTR employs terrain-following technology, greatly reducing the amount of site grading and ecosystem disruption needed on a plant site during construction.

Taking Responsibility
We offset 30% of energy that we consume at Nextracker’s global headquarters in Fremont, California, through onsite generation at our Center for Solar Excellence.
Offsetting GHG Emissions
We are completing the Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions and environmental impacts through the entire life-cycle of our products. This baseline allows us to find areas where we can reduce or offset our GHG emissions moving forward.
Responsible Procurement
We have instituted a responsible procurement program, to ensure our supply chain partners also meet our sustainability goals.
Low Carbon Offerings
We are developing productized versions of low carbon-footprint trackers, in order to reduce the environmental impact of developing and building a solar power plant.
ISO Certifications
The company has earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system. Learn More
