My Visit to Little Bear (210 MW) Construction Site During COVID-19

How refreshing to visit a job site today, and see Swinerton Renewable Energy‘s phenomenal team achieving exemplary safety with high-velocity installation metrics.

The 210 MW Little Bear project was developed by FSLR and Longroad Energy Partners and uses First Solar S-6 high-efficiency module, 435W! (Love the no cardboard packaging). Check out the blazing-fast module attach speed made possible with Nextracker, Inc NX Horizon with patented spring speed clip, introduced several years ago and proven on many gigawatts with FSLR Series 6.

Thank you for hosting us, Jerime Cope, Victor Gonzolez, and Christine Larsen of SRE and shout out to my NX colleagues Primo Vargas III, Wayne Miller, and Maxwell Kommor for their strong customer support. Utility-scale solar is delivering safe jobs, lowering customers’ energy costs, and enabling clean air…all much more important right now than ever. The site is top quality and clean. It’s interesting the way projects often reflect the developers, EPCs, and partnerships they build. It’s an honor to be associated with this group.

Since I posted this video on LinkedIn, I’ve received incredible feedback. Thank you for your comments and engagement.

Keep safe, Shug
