On Christian Roselund’s Article, “Zombie Coal”

Great Christian Roselund article regarding coal expansion in China and the developing world undermining gains in the US and Europe. Internal China coal demand rebounded when the US withdrew from the Paris climate accord. Hopefully it tapers from increasingly compelling renewable economics and/or US re-engagement and global pressure on climate to overcome China’s coal industry shenanigans.

The developing world is a different matter with China and Japan’s export banks subsidizing coal exports and enslaving those countries with decades of uneconomic polluting power payments. What we can do is predicate other foreign aid on avoiding coal entrapments.
